Celebrating Aldona
Aldona Arts
Foundation
Situated in North Goa, Aldona is a village that retains the charm of a bygone era. The village's name may come from the words "Haldi" (turmeric) or "Hal" (plow), reflecting its agricultural origins. It’s blend of natural beauty, historical charm, and community spirit makes it a unique and special place within Goa.
Aldona Arts Foundation, a section 8 organisation (not for profit/social enterprise), was established in 2025 with a mission centred around social impact, community empowerment, and the promotion of the arts.
The Foundation aims to offer a variety of programs, workshops, exhibitions, and performances, contributing significantly to the cultural vibrancy of the local community.

SpArK
Special Art for Kids
The SpArK Programme is an in-school arts initiative that creates accessible opportunities for students to explore creativity and self-expression.
Working with schools in Goa, our facilitators bring artist-led workshops and creative learning into classrooms, introducing students to diverse artistic practices.
Through thoughtfully designed sessions, the programme nurtures imagination, confidence, and a deeper engagement with the arts.
